Hello everyone, happy Monday. I hope everyone is having a great day. So far, I’m having an amazing day, did an hr of total body workout and now I feel amazing. Plus drinking my wonderful ketones also helps with everything.

So let’s get started, grab your coffee or ketones or whatever you drink is today and let’s do this.

The last two years, I been fighting with acne since my daughter was born, at first I thought maybe my hormonal change my skin type, where before I was dry but maybe now I was oily. So I changed my skin routine to oil control. Well, I found that made my skin worse and super dry, like beyond dry. So I definitely didn’t have oily skin, I must still have dry skin.

I never had acne in my teenage life or most of my adult life, so I had no clue how to deal with acne and this was new territory to me. I was on a hunt for the cure, google research, asking people advice, and everything under the sun to deal with this.

I tried so many products (Clinique, Mary Kay, Vichy, Boscia, Spectro, Fresh, and Bioderma) so many different routines. I always gave each product a fair chance and used up all the product before switching to another one. The one product that definitely helped a lot and did help somewhat clear has much of my acne was the Mary Kay Timeless but didn’t clear my skin up but helped prevent more acne from forming.

So finally I found a product that is working for my skin after 4 days of using it and now I can’t wait to start buying the full-size product. I was introduced to Dermalogica when I went to get my brows done at a new place (my brows looks amazing by the way), the person who did my brows, she also does facially. She was telling my skin was dehydrated and gave me a couple of samples of Dermalogica to try.

What the difference between Dry and Dehydrated Skin?

Dry skin lacks moisture, tends to feel dry all over. including on hands and scalp, more susceptible to aging, and needs oil-rich products.

Dehydrated skin lacks water, can feel oily and dry simultaneously, may experience breakouts, comes and goes depending on diet, environment, incorrect product use, and other factors, and needs water-rich products.

You can have both Dry and Dehydrated skin, which means your skin can be flaky, itchy, sensitive, tight and dull. Which is what I have, I have both dry and dehydrated skin.

Now I know what I skin type was, I can finally tackle my skin and help it healed.

After trying the sample product of Dermalogic after 1 use, I fall in love and went on Sephora and order the Dermalogic UltraCalming Skin Kit. Which includes, UltraCalming Cleanser, Redness Relief Essence, UltraCalming Serum Concentrate, and Calm Water Gel.

UltraCalming Cleanser is a gentle cleanser that helps calm redness and soothes sensitive skin. I love this cleanser, it doesn’t leave my skin red, irritated or tight and just makes my skin feel better.

Redness Relief is a redness-reducing essence that calms and restores balance to sensitive skin. This product is amazing, I put it on and it calms my redness on my cheeks and forehead down instantly and keeps it down all day.

UltraCalming Serum Concentrate is a super-concentrated serum that helps calm, restore and defend sensitized skin. This is a miracle worker, this works within 3 minutes, all redness is gone, and makes my skin feel fresh and cool.

Calm Water Gel is a weightless water-gel moisturizer that hydrates dry, sensitive skin. OMG, I fall in love with this product, I love everything about this product. Starts out as a gel and turns into a liquid texture. It is beyond hydrating and lightweight, my skin feels so soft, so hydrating and just overall amazing.

After using this product for 4 days, I noticed a big difference in my skin, and now I’m going to try and buy the full products 1 time at a time. I can’t wait to see in a month the difference in my skin. Plus you should see my face wearing makeup using this new skin routine. I highly recommend Dermalogica, I’m so grateful for being introduced to this product and can’t wait in a month time what my skin looks like.

That is all for today, I hope you guys loved this post and I will keep you updated in 1 month if this product is still doing wonders on my skin.

I hope you all have a wonderful day,

Love,

Chelsey

Monday is mask day part 2

Welcome, back everyone. Today is mask day, I will be testing out Boscia.

So grab your coffee, pull up a seat and let’s get started.

On sephora, it’s states, an innovative, powerful, mineral-rich mask infused with activated charcoal that peels off to deliver powerful detoxifying, purifying, and brightening effects.

Solutions for:

  • Dullness and uneven texture.
  • Pores.
  • Oiliness.

How to use:

  • Apply a thick, opaque, even layer to clean, dry skin.
  • Avoid eye area.
  • Do not apply to eyebrows, hairline, or lips.
  • Leave on for 25 minutes or until completely dry.
  • Gently peel off mask from outer edges.
  • Rinse off any residue with warm water.

20 mins later, it still wet in some areas, going to keep it on for another 20 mins.

Time to peel off this mask.

I love peeling this mask off, it’s so satisfying.

Halfway done.

All done, now time to wash off but first let’s look what came off.

Wow, look at those whiteheads and tiny hairs 😂. My skin does feel and look, clear, clean, smooth, and bright.

Final results. I love this mask, only one con tho you really have to put a lot on because if you don’t it hard to peel off; but other than that it really good peel off mask. It clings to the gunk and pulls it out. Leaving your face feeling amazing.

Here Sophie cat, with a big Lysol wipes.

Well that’s it for now.

Till next

Xoxo,

Covergirl Total Tease Mascara Review

Welcome back everyone, today I will be reviewing Covergirl Total Tease Mascara.

So grab your coffee, pull up a seat and let’s get started.

The face is all done, except for the mascara part.

Today’s look is brought to you by:

  • Fenty Beauty Foundation
  • Tarte Rainforest of the Sea 2
  • Becca under eye corrector
  • Becca Backlight primer
  • bare minerals invisible light
  • Marc Jacobs Coconut Mist
  • No bronzer or Blush today

On the CoverGirl website, it states, full length. Refined. Sexy, teased lashes! Use the lash teasing mascara comb for ease and control to tease even the tiniest corner lashes for a full, voluminous look. Dark, defined lashes that last all day!

Ok, I’m excited to try this mascara, so let’s get started.

The first thing, the brush is beyond weird. One side has a tease on the end and the other side is just a regular mascara. So after applying the mascara, I disliked the wand. I end up stabbing my eye when trying to coat my eyelash. I don’t know if anyone else had that problem when using it or is it just me problem lol. Bottom line the brush is awkward to use.

So after two coats and stabbing my eyes, I really disliked the formula for this mascara. I found the formula is messy, clumpy, and flaked when I was putting it on. It didn’t give me that full long lashes that I love and try to aim for. It did fan out my lashes but by the end of the day, I have black flakes under my eyes.

Bottom Line: I give this 1 out of 5 stars, and I would Not recommend this to a friend. Save your money for something better. So disappointed 😦

Well that it for today, my friends, until next time.

XOXO,

Life is enchanting
